The CSNP partners with Share the Harvest each growing season. Share the Harvest is an organization that connects community gardens, home gardeners, and farmers to agencies that have a food pantry/meal site for individuals and families who seek assistance, and in this case, quality garden produce.
As a long time partner, the CSNP helps Share the Harvest find interested volunteers to assist with the distribution and picking up of donated produce. Here is how you can help:
Produce Driver Volunteers: use your own mid to large size vehicle to pick up donated produce at the NC A&T Farm and the Cooperative Extension Office and then deliver it to the CSNP location. Donated produce should be delivered between 9:15am-10:30am on Monday or Thursday.
