Joy Prom Winston-Salem is a full-scale, annual prom for the special needs individuals and those with disabilities in our community. Established in 2015, we welcome guests ages 16+, with any physical, developmental, or intellectual "different ability!"
The Red Carpet and Dance Hall Water Station Volunteers maintain the water stations located on the red carpet waiting area from 5:15-6:15 and then will monitor the water stations on the dance floor and throughout the breezeway area. Your responsibilities are to offer water to the guests, keep the water station stocked with full cups, and refill their cups if requested. The event concludes with all guests on the dance floor. Encourage guests to dance , cheer them on and of course dance with them while overseeing the water station if you want.
