Set the stage for a successful sale! Assist staff in unloading pallets of merchandise, sorting clothes, and helping to create attractive merchandise displays that will appeal to sale shoppers. Volunteers will help set-up the merchandise bagging and cash wrap stations. This is a physically demanding role, and volunteers should be comfortable walking, standing, using box cutters, and lifting and moving heavy boxes/piles of clothes for two hours at a time.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and 10-day pass to the YWCA. To sweeten the deal even further, sign up for any two or more shifts and receive a $80 voucher to use for merchandise. Volunteers must sign up by November 6th to receive their requested t-shirt size; after that date, some t-shirts sizes will be limited and distributed on a first -come first served basis. *Vouchers must be validated by staff at the time of use.*
All registered volunteers will need to attend a 30 min Zoom orientation session PRIOR TO ARRIVING FOR THEIR SHIFT. Please register for the orientation here.
