Joy Prom Winston-Salem is a full-scale, annual prom for the special needs individuals and those with disabilities in our community. Established in 2015, we welcome guests ages 16+, with any physical, developmental, or intellectual "different ability!"
The Red Carpet Paparazzi & Cheering Crowd cheer for our guests and make them feel like the celebrities they are as they walk down the red carpet. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals who cannot serve the full night of Joy Prom - once the Red Carpet Ends (around 7:30pm) you will be dismissed.
Please note that due to space constraints, upon dismissal, Red Carpet Volunteers will be expected to leave after their shift, however, if you desire to continue to stay for the remainder of the event, you are welcome to sign up to volunteer in another area.
