The Snowball Dance will be a fun-filled holiday event for special needs individuals in the community, and will feature a DJ, dancing and a photobooth. Guests ages 16+ with any physical, developmental, or intellectual "different” ability are welcome. Please note that a parent or caretaker will be required to remain present during this event. Christmas casual or holiday attire.
Floaters will help monitor the space to keep it clean and safe, sanitize chairs in between guest shifts, and fill in for other volunteer positions as needed.
In order to make the Snowball Dance a safer experience for all, volunteers working as Floaters will undergo background checks this year. Therefore, signups will close Dec. 15th.
For the past fourteen years, local churches, businesses and members of the arts community have come together to throw a free citywide Christmas party that features live music and arts performances, original work by local artists, a make-your-own toy workshop and, Santa Clause. Last year, 1,200+ volunteers welcomed over 10,000 guests for an evening of celebration and community. Online Sign Ups are Open until Dec 15th.
