Ethnoir is seeking mission-aligned professionals to serve as founding members of our Advisory Board.

About Ethnoir

Ethnoir is a North Carolina-based entrepreneurship support organization dedicated to helping early-stage founders build the clarity, systems, and partnerships needed to achieve sustainable growth and access future funding opportunities.

Our work focuses on strengthening business readiness, supporting founder development, and expanding access to resources for entrepreneurs who are often overlooked by traditional support systems.

About the Advisory Board

As Ethnoir grows, we are building a diverse group of advisors who can provide strategic guidance, industry expertise, community connections, and thoughtful feedback.

Advisory Board members will help strengthen our impact, expand partnerships, and support the development of programs that serve entrepreneurs throughout North Carolina and beyond.

Areas of expertise we are particularly seeking include:

• Banking and small business lending
• Philanthropy and foundations
• Economic development
• Entrepreneurship and business ownership
• Higher education
• Healthcare systems
• Community development
• Marketing and communications
• Legal and compliance
• Finance and accounting
• Technology and operations

Responsibilities

• Attend quarterly advisory meetings
• Provide strategic guidance and feedback
• Make introductions to potential partners and supporters when appropriate
• Serve as a thought partner on program development and growth opportunities
• Advocate for entrepreneurship and economic mobility initiatives

Time Commitment

Approximately 2–4 hours per quarter.

We welcome professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and subject matter experts who are passionate about strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems and creating pathways to opportunity for underserved founders.

This is a volunteer advisory role and does not carry fiduciary or governance responsibilities.
