Peacehaven is seeking Peer Coaches to work one-on-one with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities participating in our RISE job skills training program. Peer Coaches work alongside the individual they are supporting to help provide guidance, understanding of information, or assistance in following instructions presented by the Lead Educator. The ideal peer coach can commit to attending the program weekly on the same day (Tuesday or Thursday) so that a peer relationship and trust can be developed with the participants. The program operates from 9:00-12:00, and the peer coach should be able to volunteer at least 2 of the 3 hours each day.
