Community Engagement Volunteer

Help WRC show up in the community!

The Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro is looking for outgoing, passionate women who are willing to represent WRC at community events and gatherings.

What You’ll Do

  • Represent WRC in a positive and welcoming way at community events
  • Share information about WRC’s programs, services, and mission
  • Talk with attendees and help connect women to resources
  • Distribute brochures and other informational materials
  • Answer basic questions about WRC and direct people to the appropriate staff member when needed
  • Help build awareness and strengthen WRC’s connections throughout the community

We’re Looking For Women Who Are:

  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable talking with others
  • Passionate about WRC’s mission
  • Comfortable speaking about WRC and its programs (Training will be provided!)
  • Reliable and willing to attend occasional community events
  • Professional and enthusiastic ambassadors for WRC

Time Commitment: Flexible and based on event needs. Volunteers can sign up for individual events that fit their schedule.
