In the Movement with Oasis Restore

Oasis Restore is working to change England. Before anything else, Oasis Restore is a school, one that cares for kids aged 12-18 who have been sentenced by the courts. Rather than jail or prison, these children are sent to England’s first ever secure school. Oasis Restore believes something simple, something we very often forget in America – children are different from adults. Steve Chalke and his staff work to build an environment of high expectation and high support that addresses the root causes of harmful behavior. They center restoration over punishment and filter all parts and pieces of the school through relationships, discovery, and community.
