Who We Are

The Servant Center is a local non-profit organization celebrating 30 years of service and support in the Triad. Our mission: to empower the homeless and disabled, particularly veterans, to become independent and contributing members of our community through housing, healthcare and restorative services.

What We Do

  • Since 1999, Servant House has been N.C.’s only transitional housing program which focuses on veterans and exclusively seeks to serve veterans with disabilities. Unlike many similar programs, Servant House doesn’t stop at just giving residents a place to stay, but provides vital benefits aimed at helping residents develop a new outlook, change old behavior, and learn to manage physical and psychological health conditions with the goal of returning to independent living within the community. The services available to residents include: health support and transportation to VA medical facilities, customized case management and counseling for chronic illnesses, substance abuse and basic life skills. Residents may stay at Servant House for up to 24 months. It is our mission to " serve those that served us".
