HBCU Proud Foundation Inc. is a High Point, NC based 501(c)(3) dedicated to strengthening the future of Historically Black Colleges and Universities through their student-athletes. Founded by a two-time HBCU graduate, we believe HBCUs are more than schools - they are community anchors, engines of opportunity, and keepers of a legacy worth protecting. We advocate for the students who wear the jersey and the institutions that shaped generations of Black excellence, working to close the resource gap between HBCU athletic programs and their better-funded counterparts.

We open doors to education by helping student-athletes and their families experience HBCU campuses through funded recruiting visits - because a young person can't choose a school they've never seen. We provide financial education, including NIL (name, image, and likeness) guidance, so athletes and their families can make informed decisions and build lasting wealth. And we mobilize community - alumni, local supporters, and monthly donors through our Legacy 5,000 program - to invest directly in HBCU athletics. Every dollar and every volunteer hour advance equity for institutions that have done the most with the least. Through our media platform, The Stage, we spotlight the athletes, coaches, and legends who make HBCU sports a story worth telling.
