Postpartum Resource Center of the Triad

Who We Are

The Postpartum Resource Center of the Triad (PRCT) was founded by mothers and mental health professionals who saw a critical need for greater support for expecting and new parents. Today, PRCT serves families by connecting them with local resources, increasing awareness of perinatal mental health conditions, and working to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health during pregnancy and the postpartum period. We envision a community where every parent feels supported, mental health is openly discussed, and compassionate, equitable care is accessible to all.

What We Do

PRCT advances its mission through free postpartum support groups, community outreach and education, and awareness events that connect families with local resources. Our annual Miles for Maternal Mental Health 5K & Fun Run unites our community to raise awareness, reduce stigma surrounding perinatal mental health, and support expecting and new parents throughout the Triad.
