PORCH Communities is a grassroots nonprofit uniting neighbors to fight hunger. Through our simple model, thousands of volunteers collect food from porches each month, creating a reliable supply for local pantries. Since 2010, more than 70 volunteer-led chapters across 15 states have delivered over $17M in relief directly to local pantries, schools, and community organizations.
What We Do
PORCH for Pantries makes it easy for neighbors to come together each month to provide reliable, nutritious food for local pantries — ensuring shelves are stocked with what communities truly need. Volunteers collect non-perishable food from neighborhood porches each month and deliver it to local pantries, schools, and community organizations, creating a consistent and dependable source of food for families. Our neighborhood food drives are led by volunteer PORCH Chapter Leaders and Neighborhood Coordinators who are the heart of our success.
