Who We Are
The Guardian ad Litem Program is a statewide program in North Carolina which is a division of the Administrative Office of the Courts. The program operates under a legislative mandate to represent the best interest of children that are brought before the court due to allegations of abuse or neglect.
What We Do
The Guardian ad Litem Program trains volunteers to be independent advocates to promote the best interest of children alleged to have been abused and neglected. Our volunteers work with Attorney Advocates and the court system to help promote permanency for the court involved child.
