Self-Help Information Network and Exchange

Self-Help Information Network and Exchange (SHINE) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Greensboro, North Carolina. S.H.I.N.E.'s mission is to empower, uplift, and unite communities by providing educational programs and events that foster cultural understanding, lifelong learning, personal growth, meaningful relationships, and community engagement.

SHINE hosts a number of educational events within the Triad community. It's most popular event is the biennial NC Muslim Festival in Center City Park - downtown Greensboro. The purpose of this event is to promote cultural understanding, community engagement, arts, diversity, humanity, service, and unity. We do so by helping to build bridges with community members and offer an opportunity for civic pride, as well as education.
