Who We Are
Piedmont Environmental Alliance is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and empower, build community, and inspire action to create a healthier, more economically vibrant, and more environmentally sustainable community.
What We Do
Piedmont Environmental Alliance is dedicated to educating and inspiring our community to take action on environmental issues. We do this through several engagement opportunities that reach a diverse range of individuals in our community. Our environmental education programs reach over 4,000 students in Title I WS/FC schools each year. We are also the host of Piedmont Earth Day Fair, which draws over 8,000 community members each year to learn about environmental issues and topics. Lastly, we aim to engage our community by providing opportunities to take action on local sustainability initiatives, building beneficial partnerships with local businesses and government entities, and working with other community groups to improve our local environment.
