Who We Are

I am an innovative thinker who for almost 30 years have given hope to those people who have been forgotten or ignored by society in general. I know the difference nature knowledge and plants can make in low income communities and with special needs groups(homeless, mentally and physically challenged, addiction issues, depression and other mental disorders, prison inmates, veterans, youth at risk) etc.

What We Do

This is a community Horticultural Therapy and nature program working with special populations that was started in 1991 as part of the WS Rec&Parks; Dept. It won a state award for the best new therapeutic Recreation program for the state and also won a community appearance award. The recreation department discontinued the program 10 years ago. I retired and now do it now as a ministry. I have worked at 75 different sites over 40 years facilitating nature programs (plants, butterflies, birds etc) giving away plants and gardening supplies. Donations are appreciated to keep this program growing. This includes supplies of tools, plants, soil and monetary gifts.
