Gift Mart

Christmas for the City's Gift Mart provides an opportunity for parents to purchase, in a store-type setting, new and like-new toys and gifts at greatly reduced prices to give to their children (including tween and teens) as Christmas gifts.

We collect new and gently used toys, bikes, books and clothing for children of all ages to provide a complete shopping experience for families referred to us at Christmas.  Gift Mart is completely run by volunteers who are needed to help in a variety of ways on the day of Gift Mart as well as the days, weeks, and months leading up to Gift Mart. Some of the volunteer opportunities are to assist with contacting businesses to host toy collection boxes, picking up toys periodically from those businesses, and helping sort all donated gift items in preparation for the actual day of Gift Mart.
