National Volunteer Week Opportunity: Sort and Assemble Food Donations with BackPack Beginnings

Dates: Monday, April 22, 2024, and Thursday, April 25, 2024

Time: 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Location: BackPack Beginnings (3711 Alliance Dr, Greensboro, NC 27407)

As part of National Volunteer Week, join us in supporting Guilford County students through BackPack Beginnings. We're seeking volunteers to lend their hands in sorting food donations and assembling essential food bags for students in need.

Responsibilities:

• Sort incoming food donations to ensure quality and suitability for distribution.
• Assist in assembling food bags according to specific guidelines.
• Help organize and maintain the warehouse space for efficient operations.

Requirements:

• No prior experience necessary, just a willingness to lend a hand and make a difference.
• Volunteers must be able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry moderate weights.

Time Commitment: Choose one or both dates, Monday, April 22, or Thursday, April 25. Shifts are from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
