Ensure the sale is a financial success for the YWCA. Our payment cashiers are responsible for processing credit card payments and handling cash, making sure that all purchases are properly paid for and our shoppers enthusiastically thanked! Must be detail oriented, comfortable making change, working with basic point-of-sale technology, able to stand on their feet for two hours at a time, and not easily distracted.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and 10-day pass to the YWCA. To sweeten the deal even further, sign up for any two or more shifts and receive a $80 voucher to use for merchandise. Volunteers must sign up by November 6th to receive their requested t-shirt size; after that date, some t-shirts sizes will be limited and distributed on a first -come first served basis. *Vouchers must be validated by staff at the time of use.*
All registered volunteers will need to attend a 30 min Zoom orientation session PRIOR TO ARRIVING FOR THEIR SHIFT. Please register for the orientation here.
