Make sure that our shoppers get what they came for! Volunteers will review shopper’s purchases, bag them, and tabulate their totals, before the shoppers head to the cash-wrap station to make their payments. Volunteers must be able to do basic math quickly, stand on their feet for 2 hours at a time, be detail oriented, and have a friendly, customer-service approach to working with shoppers.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and 10-day pass to the YWCA. To sweeten the deal even further, sign up for any two or more shifts and receive a $80 voucher to use for merchandise. Volunteers must sign up by November 6th to receive their requested t-shirt size; after that date, some t-shirts sizes will be limited and distributed on a first -come first served basis. *Vouchers must be validated by staff at the time of use.* Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
All registered volunteers will need to attend a 30 min Zoom orientation session PRIOR TO ARRIVING FOR THEIR SHIFT. Please register for the orientation here.
