Crosby Sparks: Serve on Labor Day Weekend

What: Serve during Labor Day weekend 2026

4:00pm - 6:00pm
Unloading a truck packed with hundreds of pounds of food and then organizing and filling weekend food bags for local middle school students. This is a partnership with Augsburg Lutheran Church on Fifth Street. The church has a food outreach program and needs us to help make sure that bags are taken care of for weeks to come!
Where: 845 W Fifth Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101

If your student is being dropped off and picked up, please pull up to the front door. If your student is driving, please have them park directly in the lot next to the church on Fifth Street.
To Bring: (not required) water bottle
SPARK will guide your student in submitting their service hours with Crosby Scholars.
Please note that you’re serving with the local organization, SPARK, but using the registration portal through Love Out Loud. You will receive a reminder email closer from both SPARK and Love Out Loud.
