BASE is Love Out Loud's volunteer platform that organizes community issue areas, community partner agencies, events, and more. BASE allows volunteers to explore and sign up for volunteer opportunities. To create your volunteer profile, please follow the steps below.

TO LOG HOURS:
1. To access BASE, visit volunteer.loveoutloudws.com.
2. Click "Login" or "Sign Up" in the top right (to learn how to create a profile, click here)
3. Click "Track Hours" in the top right corner
4. You'll see this screen where you will see the box with all of your volunteer hours for the designated time period. You can edit the dates here.
When you sign up for volunteer opportunities on BASE the hours will automatically be added to this list.
5. When you scroll down you will see this area where you can input hours that are not listed in the box above.

HOUR TYPE: Are these hours in reference to an Opportunity you responded to on this site?
- If you served with an opportunity you signed up for on BASE, but it's not showing up in the box above OR you served more hours than are accounted above you can add it here by clicking "YES" and choosing from the drop down list which opportunity you're inputting hours for.
- If you served with an opportunity you DID NOT sign up for on BASE, you can click "NO" and add details about the opportunity.
i. Where did you volunteer? location or organization you served with
ii. Who can verify these hours? individual leading volunteer group or organization that was present at the activity
iii. What email address can be used to confirm these hours? email address of individual listed in (ii) -
Plus One Hour
If your child or another individual that does not utilize the site served with you and you would like to track these hours as "plus one" hours - you may do so here.

Insert details here about the date and hours worked as well as if you would like these hours tracked with a group on the site you're associated with (USER GROUP)

TO RETRIEVE VOLUNTEER HOURS / RESUME:
1. To access BASE, visit www.volunteer.loveoutloudws.com.
2. Click "Login" or "Sign Up" in the top right (to learn how to create a profile, click here)
3. Click "VIEW PROFILE" in top right corner
you can access this by clicking on your picture or initials in the top right corner
4. On the left side of the screen you will see "Volunteer Resume"
In the boxes you can change the date range you would like your resume for.
5. Your volunteer resume will download as a PDF onto your computer. From here you can save, email, or print it.
- The first page lists information about your total volunteer hours and what areas they are in.
- The second page and beyond lists the specifics of your volunteer hours, when and where they were, and if they're verified (check box).
