Who We Are

We provide services to Durham County residents of all ages.  Programs include classes on various topics from parenting to nutrition; clothes for children under five in Welcome Baby Resource Center Giving Closet; 4-H youth clubs and camps; Kids Voting Durham - learning about the political process; agriculture and small farms information and more.

What We Do

Cooperative Extension partners with communities to deliver education and technology that enrich the lives, land and economy of North Carolina. The Durham County Center is composed of the following program areas: childhood development (Welcome Baby Resource Center); youth development and education (4-H program, Kids Voting Durham, Parent & Family Advocacy and Support Training- PFAST); health and nutrition (family & consumer science); agriculture and horticulture.
