Humane Solution

Humane Solution is solely comprised of dedicated volunteers working to solve the pet overpopulation crisis. Pet overpopulation results in the euthanization of thousands of innocent lives every year, and our volunteers believe that spay-neuter is the key to reducing pet overpopulation. Therefore, our work is only possible because of people just like you! Be a part of a compassionate solution to end pet overpopulation while building trust and making connections with people in Forsyth County to improve the safety, health and well-being of their pets. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities offered throughout the year. Your gifts, talents and skills can be used to support: - Community Outreach/Education - Rabies/Microchip Clinics - Spay/Neuter Voucher Clinics - Fundraising Events - Assisting the public with feral cat colonies and TNR - Service on the Board of Directors/various committees If you are interested in making a greater impact for pets, please complete our on-line volunteer application found at https://humanesolution.org/volunteer.html. Humane Solution Spay-Neuter Program provides low-cost vouchers to pet owners with financial hardships. The vouchers can be used at several area veterinary hospitals. Getting a pet spayed or neutered potentially reduces the number of unwanted pets by the thousands annually. We reimburse the veterinary hospital a set fee above the cost that the pet owner pays for vouchers. Humane Solution relies solely on donations, grants, and fundraisers to make this low-cost spay-neuter program possible. Our main fundraisers are rabies/microchip clinics that are held at various locations 5 times a year, as well as a “Spay-ghetti Dinner” held annually. Donations and grants help us "Spay it Forward" and offer other services, such as vaccine allowances and reduced or free vouchers for very low-income pet owners.
