The Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro is looking for outgoing, passionate women who are willing to represent WRC at community events and gatherings.

What You’ll Do

Represent WRC in a positive and welcoming way at community eventsShare information about WRC’s programs, services, and missionTalk with attendees and help connect women to resourcesDistribute brochures and other informational materialsAnswer basic questions about WRC and direct people to the appropriate staff member when neededHelp build awareness and strengthen WRC’s connections throughout the community

We’re Looking For Women Who Are:

Friendly, approachable, and comfortable talking with othersPassionate about WRC’s missionComfortable speaking about WRC and its programs (Training will be provided!)Reliable and willing to attend occasional community eventsProfessional and enthusiastic ambassadors for WRC

Time Commitment: Flexible and based on event needs. Volunteers can sign up for individual events that fit their schedule.

Volunteer Opportunity: General Administrative Support Volunteer with the Women's Resource Center of Greensboro

Responsibilities include:

Answering phones and providing excellent customer serviceAssisting at the front desk and helping visitorsOrganizing office materialsHelping with event preparations and administrative tasks

Volunteer Attorneys Needed for Free Attorney Hotline Program

The Women's Resource Center is seeking dedicated licensed attorneys to volunteer for our free Attorney Hotline program. This invaluable service helps women in the community make well-informed decisions by providing them with clear knowledge of their legal rights and responsibilities as they navigate life's transitions under North Carolina law.

Program Details:

Service Provided: Answering legal questions in over 20 areas of North Carolina law including Civil, Criminal, Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Domestic/Family, Consumer Rights, Wills/Probate, and more.Appointment Duration: Each session is approximately 15 minutes, conducted over the phone.Volunteer Commitment: We ask for a commitment of roughly 1 hour per month (4 appointments).
