Volunteer: Volunteer Attorneys Needed (REMOTE)Volunteer Attorneys Needed for Free Attorney Hotline Program The Women's Resource Center is seeking dedicated licensed attorneys to volunteer for our free Attorney Hotline program. This invaluable service helps women in the community make well-informed decisions by providing them with clear knowledge of their legal rights and responsibilities as they navigate life's transitions under North Carolina law. Program Details: Service Provided: Answering legal questions in over 20 areas of North Carolina law including Civil, Criminal, Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Domestic/Family, Consumer Rights, Wills/Probate, and more.Appointment Duration: Each session is approximately 15 minutes, conducted over the phone.Volunteer Commitment: We ask for a commitment of roughly 1 hour per month (4 appointments).Current Needs: Family LawEmploymentLandlord/TenantWhy Volunteer?
