Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart - Forsyth Medical Center   Join our Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart team! Our Hospitality Cart visits patients located on Antepartum and Mother/Baby at Forsyth Medical Center, and offers a variety of snacks, drinks, activities, toiletries, and coffee to patients and their guest.  

Volunteer duties include:

• Greet and serve guests drinks, snacks, activities and toiletries.
• Record number of guests served.
• Replenish snacks, drinks, activities and toiletries.
• Keep the cart neat and organized.
• Communicate with Hospitality Services Manager.
• Serve as an ambassador of the Ronald McDonald Hospitality
Services Team, encouraging guest to visit our Family Room.

Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart - Downtown Health Plaza   Join our Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart team! Our Hospitality Cart visits patients who are attending their appointments at Downtown Health Plaza, and offers a variety of snacks, drinks, activities, toiletries, and coffee to patients and their guest.  

Volunteer duties include:

• Greet and serve guests drinks, snacks, activities and toiletries.
• Record number of guests served.
• Replenish snacks, drinks, activities and toiletries.
• Keep the cart neat and organized.
• Communicate with Hospitality Services Manager.

We offer complimentary snacks, meals, activities and a supportive place to take a break from their child's hospital room

-Replenish snacks, make coffee and keep room organized and tidy

-Maintain paperwork

-Keep good communication with Hospitality Services Manager

Our Hospitality Cart visits patients located on Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and the Emergency Room at Thomasville Medical Center, and offers a variety of snacks, drinks, activities, toiletries, and coffee to patients and their guest.  

Volunteer duties include:

• Greet and serve guests drinks, snacks, activities and toiletries.
• Record number of guests served.
• Replenish snacks, drinks, activities and toiletries.
• Keep the cart neat and organized.
• Communicate with Hospitality Services Manager.
• Serve as an ambassador of the Ronald McDonald Hospitality Services Team, encouraging guest to visit our Family Room.

We provide dinner for our families 7 nights a week. Bringing a cooking group is an amazing way to show the support of the community and it truly makes our House feel like home.

Dinner groups can have up to 10 participants and are responsible for planning a menu and bringing all the necessary ingredients/ supplies to the House, and then using our kitchen and equipment to cook (all prep work and cooking must be done here at the Ronald McDonald House and cannot be done at home). 

Groups typically cook for 35 (but you will receive an exact count on the Monday of your cooking date). After cooking, your group will portion out meals in individual to-go containers and label them with the contents and date (date labels and to-go containers are provided by us).

Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart - Tim and Carolynn Rice Center for Child and Adolescent Health   Join our Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart team! Our Hospitality Cart provides small toys, coloring books, board books, and fidget toys to patients and their siblings while they wait for their appointment. This cart is stationary on the Child and Adolescent floor and is a great resource for families to use.  

Volunteer duties include:

• Greet and serve guests water, activities and toys.
• Record number of guests served.
• Replenish toys and activities.
• Keep the cart neat and organized.
• Communicate with Hospitality Services Manager.
• Serve as an ambassador of the Ronald McDonald Hospitality
Services Team, informing guests of the various services offered in
surrounding hospitals.

This position would best be filled by an individual who is bilingual in Spanish.
